Takra

As a natural probiotic, this drink cleanses all the channels in the body and promotes excellent digestion. Enjoy this as a 10am or 3pm snack, or enjoy with a meal – refrain from drinking late at night. When consumed regularly, takra cleanses the body’s channels that become clogged or blocked due to undigested food. Additionally, it simultaneously boosts digestion at a micro-level, ensuring that the body can access whole food natural nutrients. This drink increases energy, slows aging, keeps arteries clear, and regulates cholesterol. It is a great treatment for IBS and anemia; boosting digestion; reducing tumors, and easing hemorrhoids, edema, diarrhea.

Ingredients

3 Tbsp whole plain yogurt

3/4 cup water, room temperature

1/8 tsp salt

Pinch of black pepper

Pinch of cumin powder

Cilantro leaves (optional)

Preparation

Total time: 5 mins

Combine yogurt and water, and churn in large glass with a whisk until frothy. Add salt, black pepper, and cumin powder. Top with cilantro leaves if desired. Serve fresh at room temperature. 

TO GO TIP: Place all ingredients in a mason jar and then shake before consuming to create light frothiness. Easy to take as a snack for the day; takra does not need to be refrigerated.
